This guide shows you how to exchange cryptocurrencies to CHF or EUR via the Aktionariat Portfolio App and get your funds into your bank account.

Each blockchain transfer requires a transaction fee, also known as a gas fee. This fee is paid in the blockchain network's native cryptocurrency. For example:
- Ethereum: The native token is Ether (ETH).
- Optimism: The native token is Optimistic Ether (oETH)
- Polygon: The native token is MATIC.
Key Points about Transaction Fees
- Variability: Transaction fees fluctuate frequently.
- Estimates: You will see an estimated fee before confirming a transfer in the app.
- Payment: Ensure you have the required cryptocurrency (ETH, oETH or MATIC) on the correct network in your account. If you need to purchase ETH, oETH or MATIC, follow the instructions provided here.
Open Aktionariat Portfolio App and go to the “Portfolio” tab
Choose the cryptocurrency you want to sell in the list of assets.
Tap on “Sell” and you will be redirected to the browser. In case you have more than one address linked to your wallet, make sure you select the right one.
If you are using DFX services for the first time, you should fill in your personal details. Otherwise, you can proceed with step 7.
Fill in your email address and tap on “Next”
Choose your account type
Fill in personal information and tap on “Next”
Enter the amount you want to sell and choose the network in the dropdown menu. You can check the network where your assets reside in the app -> “Portfolio” tab -> Cryptocurrency you want to sell -> Positions. The icon on the left side will indicate the network. Learn more about the network here
Disclaimer: Depending on the amount you would like to sell, you might have to go through a KYC process managed entirely by our provider (DFX).
Add your IBAN. Once it is entered, you will see the estimated amount that will be transferred to your bank account
Copy the wallet address provided by DFX
Go back to the Aktionariat Portfolio App, go to the “Portfolio” tab and choose the cryptocurrency you want to sell in the list of assets.
Choose your position
Tap on "Send"
Choose “External Address” and enter the copied wallet address in the field below
Enter the amount you are going to send
You will see the estimated gas fees below. If you don’t have ETH, oETH or MATIC (depending on the network) on your account, please follow instructions here to buy it.
Tap on “Send” and confirm the transaction
Go back to the browser and tap on the button “Click here once you have issued the transaction”. After clicking the button, you will receive updates about the transfer from the provider.
