maison blanche is transforming the fashion industry by addressing current practices and tackling socio-political issues. The planet is warming, labour conditions are worsening and finding solutions is becoming harder. Conceptual fashion design and dedicated craftsmanship is a centre of their strategy that ensures environmentally friendly production and distribution methods.

Hey Yannik! Your brand is truly revolutionary. What problems inspired you to start your journey?

The fashion industry is one of the biggest polluters. Additionally, it faces significant diversity issues, with many workers subjected to unfair practices and inadequate pay. 

What are you doing to solve these problems?

We are on track to becoming the first fair, vegan, conscious, and circular fashion label.

What practices have you implemented in your brand to make it environmentally friendly?

1. Controlling the entire supply chain
2. Pay fair salaries
3. Research & adapt to new technologies
4. Integrating socio-political issues as a concept
5. Working with all types of humans
6. Working as circular as possible

What is your business model? 

We use a direct-to-consumer approach to control data, which helps us determine production numbers accurately. Additionally, we partner with selected retailers and e-retailers to reach a broader audience.

Which market are you targeting? 

We are penetrating the high fashion, accessories, and shoe markets, and we have perfumes coming soon.

What milestones have you already reached? 

We have generated 2.8 million in revenue in the first 1.5 years (extended business year) and are selling worldwide. We collaborate with various celebrities, and demand is strong. We've produced and sold over 30,000 articles and won several awards, including for our "Tags Against Crime" project, which honored our social engagement. We have also received prizes for sustainability and design.

What are your plans for the future?

Looking ahead, we aim to expand and grow further, proving that a fair, vegan, conscious, and circular business can be both sustainable and profitable.

A strong team is likely the most valuable asset of any company. Could you share some insights about your team?

Our team may be small, but we operate like a close-knit family. We value commitment and honesty. Daniel, our Studio Manager, has been dedicated since day one and remains steadfast by my side. Our CFO, Simon, has been with us from the beginning, and even our interns are eager to return. Our board of directors comprises highly experienced professionals, each a leader in their respective fields.

How much capital do you want to raise, and how do you plan to allocate these funds?

We aim to raise 1.5 million to develop and produce our entire range of products—fashion collections, accessories such as sunglasses and bags, shoes, and perfumes—all adhering to fair, vegan, conscious, and circular principles.

What was the problem or challenge you faced before you approached OOMNIUM & Aktionariat?

We recently ended our contract with Amazon at the end of last year to maintain our independence in the market and uphold our core values. Now at a pivotal moment, we require funding to demonstrate our capabilities in the market and sustain substantial revenue growth. We opted for crowd-investing because we believe in a larger purpose and seek the support of the community to achieve our goals together.
