Aktionariat offers a set of tools for Swiss companies to create a market for their digital shares on their own website.

Selling XCHF and getting CHF/EUR in your bank account

This guide shows you how to exchange XCHF to CHF or EUR through the Aktionariat Portfolio App and get your funds into your bank account.

To access the new off-ramping solution, you have to have the latest version of the app*.

*The new update for iPhone is only supported if your phone has been updated to iOS 16 or later.

Step 1.

Open Aktionariat Portfolio App and go to the “Portfolio” tab

Step 2.

Find CryptoFranc (XCHF) in the list of assets and tap on it

Step 3.

Tap on “Sell” and you will be redirected to the browser 

‍

Step 4.

Fill in your email address and tap on “Next”

‍

Step 5.

Choose your account type

Step 6.

Fill in personal information and tap on “Next”

‍

Step 7.

Enter the amount you want to sell and choose the network in the dropdown menu. You can check the network where your assets reside in the app -> “Portfolio” tab -> CryptoFranc -> Positions. The icon on the left side will indicate the network. Learn more about the network here

Disclaimer: Depending on the amount you would like to sell, you might have to go through a KYC process managed entirely by our provider (DFX).

Step 8.

Add your IBAN. Once it is entered, you will see the estimated amount that will be transferred to your bank account

Step 9.

Copy the wallet address provided by DFX 

‍

Step 10.

Open the Aktionariat Portfolio App again, go to the “Portfolio” tab and choose XCHF in the list of assets

Step 11.

Tap on “Send” and choose your position

‍

Step 12.

Tap on "Send"

‍

Step 13.

Choose “External Address” and enter the copied wallet address in the field below

‍

Step 14.

Enter the amount you are going to send

‍

Step 15.

You will see the estimated gas fee below. If you don’t have ETH on your account, please follow instructions here to buy ETH

Step 16.

Tap on “Send” and confirm the transaction

‍

Step 17.

Go back to the browser and tap on the button “Click here once you have issued the transaction”. After clicking the button, you will receive updates about the transfer from the provider.
